The toolkit takes an inclusive approach to engaging the community in the process and identifies ways of encouraging people to be involved. It outlines the four steps in the community engagement process; i) Getting started; ii) Activities; iii) Reporting; and, iv) Next Steps. It is organized around the four directions of the medicine wheel; (east) meet; (south) build trust; (west) identify issues; and, (north) develop solutions.
